A BEAUTIFUL THING I
feel the softness of a kittens fur And I listen to the
affectionate purr I see it playfully
chase a string And think, life is
such a beautiful thing I feel the heat
from the rays of the sun And walks in the
moonlight are always fun To have a
sweetheart who listens to you sing Oh life, I know, is
such a beautiful thing I watch the
bird’s wings spread in the sky As its feathered
arms carry it oh so high And how about the
happiness that a newborn brings Can life not, at
times, be a beautiful thing? What would I do
should I ever lose my eyes? Would it make me
any less wise? Would I not still
have the gift of feeling Which should prove
that life is such a beautiful thing Should having no
arms make me sad? Should having no
legs make me mad? If life is, as I
say, such a beautiful thing The thankful for
what I’ve got should be my theme |
