TEARS OF BLOOD I shed
tears of blood for the future generations What they
must deal with are past complications And I’m
talking’ about more than just the red man Cause
anyone could turn out to be a dead man Look at
the fucked up world that we live in And you
will see what our children will be given No matter
if you’re a red white yellow or black man You still
gonna have to deal with a phat man Every day
someone faces oppression Bust those
bonds that limit your expression You say
you want to change this world of horror Then what
the fuck are you waiting for? When you
see someone who’s down and out Picking
that person up is what it’s all about Don’t
tell me about the things that you want to see change Don’t
tell me about the rules that you think are strange Cause I
don’t want the hear about your complaints If
you’re too damn timid to fight the restraints I’m
thinking seven generations to the day What are
the children then going to say? Will the
black man be back on the plantation? Will the
white man be dealing with starvation? Will the
red man still be on the reservation? And what
about the yellow man and his wartime humiliation It
doesn’t take a genius to see what we’ve done To this
planet that we call number one Now I shed
tears of blood for the future generations What they
must deal with are past complications I’m
talking about more than just the ones that bled man Cause the
ones that cause our anguish are the head men Our
leaders send the armies to fix all our problems They have
no backbone to take the time to solve them It’s too
damn easy for them to be destructive And
they’re too fuckin’ lazy to do what’s constructive They never
seem to think about the masses And when
we speak up they turn around and blast us So are we
just going to shut up lay down and die? Are we
going to just hang our heads and cry? Or should
we stand up and look that man in the eye And make
him face the fact that we can see his lie Now
that’s what I think we all should do If we want
a better world for the future crew When you
look at your child – do you see a smile? And does
he have the liberty to have his own style? Do you
always want to hear children’s laughter? Peace and
love in the future is what I’m after To keep
our freedoms we must protect them We need to
take every culture and connect them Put people
in power who have a positive plan That’s
the only way we can change this land All the
racist, elitists, and conformists need to be converted There’s
an idea that’s not all that perverted And if
we’re all going to deal in reality It’s
going to take all of us to improve this society If
there’s a dictator with a rule that you must fit I say we
have to turn around and bust it So let’s
stop all the tears of blood for the future generations Let’s
put an end to all the solvable complications I’m
talking about more than just the red man Because no one deserves to be
a premature dead man
